Currently there is no regulation prohibiting LLP from carrying on activities related to NBFC but as a matter of precaution before initiating any such activitiy, it is advisable to contact Reserve Bank of India

LLP has been recently introduced and have not been recognized by authorities like Reserve Bank of India, SEBI , IRDA etc and therefore all those activities , which are governed by thses authorities cannot be carried by LLP for the time being now. MCA is in the process of all the regulatory authorities for the recognizition of the LLP.
