1. One of the Designated Partner has to be resident in India and the definition of resident in India means as per explanation given in Section-7(1), ‘a person who has stayed in India for a period of not less than 182 days during the immediately proceeding one year’. Whether he need to be resident in India during every preceding year, while he is Designated Partner.
